Paris SG: Achraf Hakimi scores historic hat-trick against Le Havre!

Moroccan full-back Achraf Hakimi scored his first career hat-trick and was involved in all five Paris Saint-Germain goals against Le Havre (5-1) in Ligue 1, according to The Herald/AFP.

A defender who scores three and sets up two more: that was Achraf Hakimi’s night with Paris Saint-Germain. The Moroccan international full-back scored his first career hat-trick in the 5-1 win over Le Havre in Ligue 1, The Herald/AFP reports. He was involved in all five Parisian goals, also providing assists for Mika Godts and Senny Mayulu.

The performance goes beyond the match itself. According to Al Mountakhab, Hakimi is the first defender in the history of the modern French championship to be involved in five goals in a single game. The Moroccan outlet places him in a very select group that includes Neymar, Ibrahimovic and Mbappé.

Five goals out of five, a night of mastery

Against Le Havre, Hakimi was involved in each of the five Parisian goals: three scored himself and two assists, according to The Herald/AFP’s count.

The Normandy club, for their part, continue a difficult run: this defeat is their seventh in nine league matches, the news agency notes.

In Luis Enrique’s eyes, a forward

According to Al Mountakhab, Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique regards Hakimi as a full-fledged forward when his team has the ball.

On an individual level, Hakimi finished 13th in the Ballon d’Or and tops the ranking of the best African players, also according to Al Mountakhab. With Paris Saint-Germain, he has also won the Champions League for the second season in a row, as well as Ligue 1, Asharq Al-Awsat reports.

Lagos date in sight

The reigning African Player of the Year, the Paris full-back is the favourite to keep the title, according to varzesh3. A favourite’s position, not a result: the verdict will come at the CAF Awards ceremony on 7 December 2026 in Lagos.
