Tottenham and Aston Villa are reportedly eyeing Christian Kofane, according to AfricaFoot. The 20-year-old Cameroonian striker, a Bayer Leverkusen player, has seen his contract extension talks stall, reports Daily Arsenal.
Christian Kofane’s future could be written on the other side of the Channel. According to Ekrem Konur, Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa are closely monitoring the 20-year-old Cameroon international striker, with a view to a move in England, believes AfricaFoot. For now, the information remains a rumour.
According to AfricaFoot and Daily Arsenal, the contract extension talks between the striker and Bayer Leverkusen are currently at a standstill. The Werkself had turned down offers of around 70 million euros from the Premier League last summer.
The agent is targeting the winter or next summer
In comments reported by Daily Arsenal, Eric Depolo, a players’ agent and representative of Christian Kofane, sets out his position: “I can guarantee you that the best option for everyone is to consider a permanent transfer to the Premier League this winter or next summer.”
The immediate calendar is the one on the pitch: Bayer Leverkusen resume their Bundesliga campaign on 17 October 2026, before the January 2027 transfer window.
