Summer 2025 marks a new chapter in the career of Ablie Jallow, the Gambian attacking midfielder. After eight years with FC Metz, including loans to AC Ajaccio and Belgium, he leaves Moselle at the end of his contract to join Servette FC in Switzerland. The transfer, officially announced in early July, comes with a contract through 2028.
Jallow joins an ambitious club, recently finishing second in the Swiss league and qualifying for the Champions League playoffs. His attacking skills, marked by elegant technique and a precise left foot, will be a major asset for Servette FC as they look to strengthen their offense on the European stage.
During his time at Metz, Jallow played over 100 matches, notably helping the club earn promotion to Ligue 1. Despite frequent injuries that sometimes hindered his rise, the Gambian international (33 caps) demonstrated his talent and determination, especially during the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
This departure also symbolizes a fresh start for Jallow who, at 26, hopes to find consistency and continue developing in a different league. Servette FC counts on his experience and creativity to shine in the upcoming seasons, while the player aims to establish himself and light up Swiss football.
