A qualifying place to be won in Group H
The Group H standings place Tunisia 3rd with two points, after two draws against Uganda (1-1) and then Botswana (2-2), according to La Presse de Tunisie and Asharq. Uganda lead with 4 points and Libya are bottom with 1 point.
Only one team from Group H will secure a ticket to the finals, with Uganda already qualified automatically as hosts, according to La Presse de Tunisie. The ticket will therefore be decided between the other teams in the group, Tunisia included.
Sfax first, Tripoli behind closed doors
The camp begins on Sunday 8 November, with a first training session on 9 November in Sfax, La Presse de Tunisie reports. The delegation will then travel to Libya on 15 November on a special flight.
The first leg is played on Friday 13 November at 17:00 at the Taïeb-Mhiri stadium in Sfax, refereed by a Moroccan quartet led by Hamza El-Fariq, according to Alwasat.ly. The second leg is scheduled for Tuesday 17 November at 17:00 at the Tripoli International Stadium.
This second leg will be played without spectators, in application of a CAF sanction linked to the incidents in the match against Benin in the 2025 AFCON qualifiers, Alwasat.ly reports.
