According to transfer specialist journalist Matteo Moretto, the Moroccan winger at Real Betis, Abde Ezzalzouli, is not considering leaving Andalusia in the immediate future, despite rumours linking him with Paris Saint-Germain this winter.
Abde Ezzalzouli is unlikely to be going anywhere. The 24-year-old Moroccan winger at Real Betis has been cited as a target for Paris Saint-Germain. But according to Matteo Moretto, speaking on DAZN and quoted by Sport.fr, the Morocco international is not considering leaving Andalusia in the immediate future.
Paris Saint-Germain are looking for attacking solutions to compensate for the absence of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the Parisian club’s player being unavailable for six months according to Sport.fr. Abde’s name surfaced in that context, but the player is reportedly not minded to leave as early as this winter.
Moretto’s denial
On DAZN, Matteo Moretto set the record straight: “There is a lot of noise, a lot of rumours. It is true that Ez Abde shares the same agent as Achraf Hakimi and that they are very good friends, but I am being denied a possible transfer to PSG,” he said, as quoted by Sport.fr.
The journalist stressed the player’s attachment to his current club: “He is extremely happy at La Cartuja and Betis are satisfied with him,” he added. A phrase that, for now, closes the door on a winter departure.
A profile that appeals to Paris
Paris Saint-Germain nonetheless remain interested in the Moroccan’s profile. Sport.fr reports that Luis Campos, the Parisian club’s sporting director, rates the Betis winger, whose transfer would cost around 40 million euros.
PSG also have attacking options in Mika Godts, Maghnes Akliouche and Ferran Torres, according to Sport.fr. The name of Ibrahim Maza, at Bayer Leverkusen, is also being repeatedly linked with PSG.
The Hakimi link in the background
Sport.fr reports another off-field element: Ez Abde shares the same agent as Achraf Hakimi, and the two men are very close friends. Matteo Moretto confirms this link, while denying a possible transfer to PSG.
PSG’s winter transfer window, which opened in January 2027, will be the occasion to see whether the Parisian club come back in for him. For now, the Morocco international remains attached to La Cartuja, where Betis are satisfied with him, according to Moretto.
