Jérémie Boga’s brilliant goal secures Nice victory over Nantes

On the 4th matchday of Ligue 1, OGC Nice earned a crucial home victory against FC Nantes thanks to a spectacular goal from Jérémie Boga at the 56th minute. Starting from midfield, Boga made a solo run, evading several Nantes defenders before slotting the ball past goalkeeper Anthony Lopes with a precise left-footed strike.

The Aiglons, who were disappointed after a loss at Le Havre, showed much more determination in this game played at Allianz Riviera. Nice dominated ball possession and created multiple scoring chances, though Nantes relied on an outstanding Anthony Lopes who made key saves to keep the score tight.

Jérémie Boga was the standout player, not only for his goal but also for his constant activity upfront. He nearly doubled his tally soon after with a long-range shot that went just wide. His performances underline his growing influence in the Nice squad this season.

Thanks to this victory, Nice climbs to 9th place in the standings and gains confidence ahead of their next game at Brest. Nantes, on the other hand, continues to struggle with their third defeat in four matches, facing a tough Breton derby against Rennes next.
