CHAN 2025 : Nairobi Lights Up with Six Fan Zones for Kenya vs Zambia Showdown

For the decisive Group A clash of CHAN 2025 between Kenya and Zambia, scheduled for Sunday, August 17 at 3:00 PM at Kasarani Stadium, the Kenya Local Organizing Committee (LOC) and the Kenyan government have announced the setup of six official Fan Zones across Nairobi.

These zones are designed to accommodate fans without tickets, offering a vibrant and secure environment with giant screens, live entertainment, food vendors, and enhanced security. The Fan Zones will be located at: Uhuru Park (CBD), Lucky Summer – Ngomongo (behind Kasarani), Dandora Stadium, Utalii – Stima Club, Jacaranda Grounds, and Kibera DC Grounds.

This match is pivotal for the Harambee Stars, who face the Chipolopolo in a stadium capped at 60% capacity due to recent safety concerns. Only fans with valid electronic tickets will be allowed inside Kasarani, while others are encouraged to enjoy the game from the Fan Zones.

The initiative promotes inclusivity and aims to prevent overcrowding and security breaches seen in earlier fixtures. CHAN 2024, branded PAMOJA, celebrates unity and African football passion—and Nairobi is ready to roar.
