The fifth and final matchday of Group B at the 2024 African Nations Championship takes place this Saturday, August 16, 2025, with two games on the schedule.
The Central African Republic will face host nation Tanzania, already qualified and aiming for a fourth straight victory to complete a flawless group stage. On the other hand, the Central Africans, already eliminated, will look to restore pride by securing their first win after three consecutive defeats.
In the other fixture, Burkina Faso, also out of contention, will take on Madagascar. The Malagasy side has everything to play for: a victory would allow them to overtake Mauritania for second place and boost their chances of reaching the quarterfinals.
