Nicolas Jackson, the 24-year-old Senegalese striker currently playing for Chelsea, could be on his way out of Stamford Bridge this summer. While Chelsea initially set his price between £80 million and £100 million (around €90–110 million), several European clubs — including Manchester United — have shown interest in the forward and could be ready to spend approximately €50 million to sign him. However, this figure is considered insufficient by Chelsea, who seem intent on maintaining a strong negotiating stance.

With new attacking signings arriving at Chelsea and Jackson no longer a key figure in head coach Enzo Maresca’s plans, the player is reportedly exploring options for more regular playing time — particularly with the next Africa Cup of Nations in sight. Other European sides such as AC Milan, Juventus, and Newcastle United have also expressed interest, but Manchester United appear the most likely to push for a significant move to strengthen their attacking lineup.

Negotiations are complicated by Chelsea’s high valuation, which they justify by pointing to Jackson’s impressive stats — 34 direct goal contributions over the last two Premier League seasons. Reports suggest the Blues have even floated the idea of a swap deal involving Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho, but talks remain challenging due to a considerable gap in valuation between the two players.

Despite these hurdles, a deal around €50 million remains a possibility for Manchester United, who are keen to resolve their attacking needs. For Nicolas Jackson, such a move would represent a fresh opportunity to revive his career at a club with big ambitions, offering the minutes and responsibility he needs to fully showcase his talent at the highest level.
