According to L’Équipe, the Red Devils are ready to open their wallets to secure the services of this young Cameroonian international, valued at around €120 million by his current club. This amount reflects Brighton’s high valuation, as they hope to keep their gem from Douala, who arrived from LOSC in 2023.
Carlos Baleba had a remarkable season with Brighton, scoring 4 goals and providing 2 assists in 40 appearances across all competitions. With a versatile midfield profile, he has established himself as a key player at the Seagulls and recently strengthened his international status with 4 caps for Cameroon. His potential is widely recognized, which explains the considerable sum requested for his transfer.
Discussions between Manchester United and Brighton are intensifying, although the English club officially denied any direct contact with Manchester United executives, specifying that exchanges are conducted through intermediaries.
