Evan Ndicka: poised for a summer move from serie A to ligue 1

Evan Ndicka, the 25-year-old Ivorian central defender contracted with AS Roma until 2028, is at the center of strong transfer rumors this summer of 2025. After an impressive season with 51 appearances across all competitions, Ndicka is attracting interest from several top European clubs, particularly in the Premier League and Ligue 1. His immediate future appears to be leaning towards a potential departure from Roma for new challenges.

Olympique de Marseille (OM) is notably active in this transfer saga. The Marseille club, eager to strengthen its defense for the Champions League campaign, is closely monitoring the situation. Discussions have involved a possible exchange with midfielder Ismaël Koné, although negotiations remain complex due to Roma’s financial demands, with a transfer fee estimated around €30 million.

Additionally, other major Turkish and English clubs are also keeping tabs on Evan Ndicka. Galatasaray, the reigning Turkish champions, as well as Premier League giants Manchester United and Tottenham, have expressed interest, though no formal offers have been made so far. Real Madrid declined a proposal deemed too costly.

This summer 2025 transfer window is therefore crucial for Evan Ndicka, who appears open to exploring all options, including a move to OM. The Ivorian, who has expressed his ambition to advance his career, could take a significant step forward by joining a top Ligue 1 club and continuing to shine at the highest European level.
