Mohammed Kudus Joins Tottenham: Record Transfer & Bright Future Summer 2025

In the summer of 2025, Mohammed Kudus, the 24-year-old Ghanaian international forward, officially joined Tottenham Hotspur from West Ham United. The transfer fee was around €63 million (£55 million), making it one of the most significant moves of the summer transfer window. Kudus signed a six-year contract with Tottenham and will wear the number 20 shirt.

Kudus, who was trained at the Right to Dream Academy before starting his European career in Denmark and later breaking out at Ajax Amsterdam, has proven himself as a versatile player capable of playing both on the wing and centrally. At West Ham, he appeared in 65 Premier League matches, scoring 13 goals and providing 12 assists. Despite interest from Chelsea and Newcastle, he ultimately chose to join the Spurs.

Joining Tottenham, Kudus steps into an ambitious club aiming to strengthen its attack with the goal of reaching the UEFA Champions League. Under head coach Thomas Frank, he looks forward to growing and developing further, inspired by the sporting project. His dribbling skills, pace, and goal-scoring instincts are valuable assets that Tottenham plans to utilize.

This transfer marks a turning point in Kudus’s career as he prepares for his first European campaign with Tottenham. He now plays a key role in Spurs’ recruitment strategy and is set to shine in the Premier League and continental competitions wearing his new colors.
