Dylan Ouedraogo: Extension in Sight for the Burkinabe Pillar of AEL Limassol

Following an outstanding season, Dylan Ouedraogo is set to extend his contract with AEL Limassol through 2027, underscoring his key role in the Cypriot club’s defense.*

Burkinabe center-back Dylan Ouedraogo is likely to prolong his stay with AEL Limassol for an additional season. Currently under contract until May 2026, his strong performances in the previous campaign have convinced the club’s management to negotiate an extension through 2027. Ouedraogo played 29 league matches last season and scored 2 goals, reflecting his occasional offensive contribution.

Trained in France and formerly at Monaco, the 27-year-old Marseille-born defender has established himself as a consistent and calm presence at Limassol. Besides his club performances, his international experience with Burkina Faso adds further value. Despite interest from Bulgarian clubs and some French Ligue 2 teams, no concrete offers have been made, and the player seems fully settled in Cyprus.

Economically, his market value stands at around €325,000. This prospective extension highlights AEL Limassol’s intent to retain key players to pursue their championship goals. Negotiations are advanced, and an agreement appears imminent, ensuring defensive stability for the upcoming season.
