Tunisian striker Hazem Mastouri is attracting significant interest from several foreign clubs this summer, with Turkish newly promoted Süper Lig club Gençlerbirliği Ankara recently offering $350,000 for his services. However, his current club US Monastir has rejected the offer as too low, valuing their international forward at $600,000.
Mastouri, a breakout star of the recent Tunisian league season, has become a key player for US Monastir, which is preparing for the CAF Champions League and counting on their striker to make a continental impact. Several clubs, including Russia’s Krylia Sovetov Samara and Egypt’s Modern Sport, have made offers in the past, all declined due to insufficient bids.
Moroccan side Raja Casablanca also reportedly offered €300,000, which was not accepted by the Tunisian club. Still, the door remains slightly open: US Monastir is unwilling to sell their star player cheaply but is open to offers reflecting his athletic value and potential.
Gençlerbirliği Ankara, returning to Turkey’s Süper Lig after four years, seeks to strengthen its attack with a dynamic player like Mastouri. The club aims to cement its position in the country’s top tier and views Mastouri as a valuable addition.
The transfer situation remains fluid, with additional clubs likely to express interest in this promising Tunisian talent who has already caught attention abroad.
