AFCON 2025: La Vache qui rit Becomes Official Supplier of the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco

The African Football Confederation (CAF) announced an unprecedented partnership with La Vache qui rit, the famous French cheese brand from Groupe Bel, as the official supplier for AFCON 2025, to be held in Morocco. The partnership, signed on July 24, 2025, in Casablanca, represents strong support for this major African football event and highlights the brand’s deep roots in the region.

The agreement was signed by Véron Mosengo-Omba, CAF Secretary General, and Jérôme Garbi, General Manager for Europe, Middle East, Africa and Overseas at Groupe Bel. This partnership joins other sponsors already committed to AFCON 2025, including the National Lottery of Côte d’Ivoire, TotalEnergies, and the European Union.

More than just a sponsorship, La Vache qui rit has a strong local presence through production at Groupe Bel’s factory in Tangier, Morocco. Present in 8 out of 10 Moroccan households, the brand is fully integrated into the daily lives of African families, a fact praised by the CAF Secretary General, who welcomed the brand into the AFCON family.

This collaboration promises a tournament marked by conviviality and sharing, combining the lightheartedness and smile of La Vache qui rit with the emotion and passion of African football.
